Great service. Super fresh fruit. Huge variety of choices on the menu. Main Street was everything you'd expect from an old school diner. This place is incredibly clean, and a wonderful step back in time
Classic railcar-style diner with booths for groups and stools at the counter for when those fill up. Generous portions, great coffee, and excellent service. Gets busy on weekends, but is worth the wait. The specials menu changes often and is always worth considering. Ask for the salsa verde. It's delicious!
Cozy and nostalgic diner by the train station. There are only 3-4 spots on the lot but we found street parking residentially a couple blocks away. Main street parking is 1 hour only from 8-8. The inside is very quaint. Not a large space but homely ambience. Staff were kind and inviting. They were nearly full on seats at noon on a Saturday. Food was delicious. This was my first time at a Polish diner and there were plenty of choices. We got the kielbasa and potato pancakes in addition to an omelette. Everything was perfect! Would highly recommend.
Another great find! The Main Street Diner My wife had a delicious crab cake benedict and I had the basic 2 egg plate with home fries, sausage and toast. The one thing that is hit or miss at breakfast are the potatoes. These were a hit! Not too dry and nice flavor. The french toast was prepared perfectly and not too sweet. Another fun, vintage trailer diner. (It would be fun if the table top jukebox worked.😉) There is plenty on the menu and they have a great staff! One of our favorites!
My husband and I have been here multiple times, and every single visit has been great. No matter when we come in, it’s always the same two women working, and they are absolutely incredible. They are fast, attentive, and completely on top of everything, yet still take the time to greet their regulars by name. That alone says so much. If you’ve ever been to a small local diner on a Sunday morning, you know how chaotic it can get. Somehow, they handle it all effortlessly and with genuine kindness. It’s honestly impressive to watch. The food has never let us down either. Consistently good, comforting diner food that keeps us coming back. This place feels like exactly what a local diner should be, and the staff truly makes it special.
They have breakfast tacos!! What else needs to be said? ¯\_(ヅ)_/¯ My wife's over easy eggs were properly runny, which isn't always easy to come by. The tacos were fire. We had started off at a different place this morning and overheard the waitress tell the neighboring table that hit sauce was $1. We hadn't ordered yet, so we left and came here. There was NO nickel and dining and the food was great. Service was friendly. Will be back! I'd post a picture of my breakfast tacos, but I ate them too fast to think about photos.

We absolutely loved Main Street Diner in Connecticut! My daughter and our whole family enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food. We had such a great time that we’ll be back in July! Ps my daughter loved her chicken nuggets for breakfast 😊
I found my Ghuntter's East Coast Dinner. Main Street, All-Around Bestess' from the Environment to The Ladies upfront, and whomever is Turning it Up and Out In The Galley. Great diner! If you are near by its a great choice with awesome service. Food was also very good and delicious. Totally recommend if youre in need of a great meal.
